Gorgeous hand painted large Chinese teapot in original antique weaved wicker basket, complete with original lining. There is a space for a tea bowl but this went missing many years ago.

Displays incredibly well.

Teapot is in excellent condition apart from the top rim having multiple chips from knocking against the lid whilst this was carried around. There is also a very small almost unnoticeable chip in the spout but apart from this condition is remarkably good for age.

I date this between very late 19th Century and very early 20th Century.

Basket is amazing quality and in great condition, the clasp is really well made and closes perfectly.
