A very unusual , intricately designed and built, Dolls House with Tower, early 20th century.

The attention to detail both internally and externally is quite skilful and lovely.

I believe this house may be a copy of the makers home.

The exterior is painted cream and grey with a central pillared entrance way with a red ruby glass fan light above the door surrounded by two storey bays either side.

There are front and back gables, four chimney stacks, a tower with widows walk and down pipes.The back has a central door with windows and glazed French doors to one side.A grey shingled roof with four accessible attic rooms.

Unusually it opens in 3 slices, (sections).

The central slice comprises of a front and back door with working latches , sliding walls,a back bathroom and front separate loo. Balustraded stairwell.

The other two slices with bay windows and windows to the back open to reveal four rooms with original wallpapers, fireplaces , tin & wood oven and a few pieces of decorations , furniture & chattels.

Wonderful original wallpapers and patterned linoleum floors.

17 rooms in total including the hallway and landing, not including the widows walk.

The pins are missing from the hinged back , these can be easily replaced .

The dimensions of this house are;

77 cm height

61 cm width

58 cm depth.
