A Large vanity, powder, dresser jar. The Repousse Sterling
Silver lid has Swirls and Flowers in high relief. The cartouche is blank, no
Monogram. The interior of the lid is gilded.
The jar has a deep cut glass motif, the base has a
cut starburst.
The rim has a maker's mark. I am not able to find
the name of the maker. STERLING 29.
Measures approximately, 3 ½” at the widest part of
the Jar and 4” tall. Pictured next to a quarter coin for scale.
Very good condition, a small hole on one of the
swirls. I could only see it when I held the top up to a light. The glass jar is
in very good condition. The lid fits tightly.
American, circa 1905.
