This Maple Syrup Vacuum Filter is perfect for filtering your homemade maple syrup. Filtering can suck so let the vacuum do the work. With 12" diameter there is plenty of filter area to work fast. The 7 gallon food grade bucket there is enough capacity for 5 gallons of syrup.  The vacuum port accommodates most vacuum hose sizes.  

Heat syrup to 190° F
Install precut orlon filter fist with 4 precut pre-filters in the screen basket.
Use all 4 retainer clips to secure filter assembly to the bucket.
Connect household vacuum hose to vacuum port.
Dispense hot syrup into the filter filter assembly.
Switch on vacuum.
As pre-filters become plugged remove them one at a time as needed. 
Once filtered pour into you bottling pot heat to 180°-190° F and bottle.
