Description: Hardcover. Large and handsome photo album, beautifully bound. 11.5 x 7.5 inches, bound in dark red morocco over red cloth decorated in blue and gilt, heavily gilt decorated spine, raised bands. With 50 mounted real photos, each measuring 7.5 x 4.75 inches on thick pages with printed titles and captions, very handsome. Scenes include views of Cannes, Juan-les-Pina, Antibes, Nice, Villefranche, Beaulieu, the Corniche, the coastal route between Nice and Monaco, Monaco and Monte Carlo including the Casino, and Menton. Possibly the work of Jean Walburg de Bray, whose commercial photographs of the Cote d'Azur remind us very much of these scenes. Near fine.
