This exposed chrome thermostatic brass strip valve is a modern bathroom product, it is a thermostatic shower that prevents the water temperature from changing in the shower, ideal for use in family bathrooms where children and the elderly will be protected from scalding or sudden the cold snap.

 

Thermostatic shower valves work by mixing hot and cold water to the temperature you set using the knob on the valve. Inside the valve is a heat-sensitive element that controls the cooling and hot water inlet and reacts to external influences, such as toilet flushing or washing machine use, to keep the water temperature constant.

 

Work requirements:

For this shower to work efficiently, your water system needs to generate at least 0.5 bar of pressure, but we recommend 1.0 bar for best performance.

You can achieve this if you have one of the following conditions:

1.Combined boiler system

2.Gravity feed system (pump only)

3.High flow system

4.Pumped hot water system

5.Unvented hot water system

6.Standard pressurized hot water cylinder system
