 Presented for auction is this superb Vintage Solid Sterling Silver Gilt & Enamel Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) Order of Merit & Honour of Knighthood Masonic Jewel The Petitor Lodge No.229, hallmarked for Birmingham 1970.

This stunning vintage RAOB masonic solid silver gilt & enamel jewel is from The Petitor Lodge No.229, it has a pink ribbon with the RAOB Order of Merit & Honour of Knighthood enamel badge to the centre with two bars top and bottom, the cross jewel suspended below is enamelled in blue and reads "Nemo Mortalium Omnibus Horis Sapit" and is embossed around the outside Royal Antediluvian Order Of Buffaloes, to the reverse of the jewel it is engraved "Bro. John W.C. Martin Petitor Lodge No.229 Exalted 5-10-70". It is hallmarked to the reverse with the Makers mark F.CP, the Birmingham assay office Anchor, the Lion Passant denoting solid sterling silver and the Date letter V for 1970, please see all the additional photos as they form part of the description.

Measuring 4 1/2" long top to bottom approx. It is in excellent used condition with no dents, dings, splits, repairs or loss to the enamelling and weighs all in 34 grams with the ribbon and bars by my electronic scales.
