Here for your consideration is a truly fabulous, elegant and rare, Art Deco, 1935, George V, silver/gilt and green guilloche, sunburst enamelled, cushioned shape, rectangular card/cigarette case with engine turned decoration.

A stunning piece of Art Deco workmanship, fully hallmarked with a silver gilt interior. This superb silver and green guilloche enamel card/cigarette case is stamped D&F for Deakin and Francis, who specialised in silver items such as card/cigarette boxes and cases. It also has the anchor mark for the Birmingham assay office with the date letter L for 1935.

Considering this card case is 85 years old it's in fantastic condition with no splits dents or repairs, and the enamelling is in superb complete original condition. It does have some very light surface scratching, commensurate with its 85 years of age, but nothing unusual.
