Fully reconditioned Jaeger speedometer from a Rover. The Speedo has been 'fully' stripped, all mechanical parts have been ultrasonically cleaned/inspected and any worn/damaged parts replaced where necessary. The casing etc have been blasted/painted and the glass/seals have been replaced. The speedo has also been bench tested and recalibrated (including remagnetizing the magnet as appropriate) so I can confirm it works correctly. Some light pitting on the rear casing but otherwise all in excellent condition. Note that the odometer has been reset but can be set to a specific mileage if required (please send me a message after payment has been made...... and before I crimp the bezel on!)
The Smiths/Jaeger part number on the face is SN6131/00A followed by 1312 (Please note that I have several other versions listed separately). According to my Smiths catalogue this exact version was fitted from oct 63 to sep 65 Rover P5 saloons with manual gearbox with overdrive (4.3:1 axle) but please double check exact fitment. The important number to note is the '1312' as this relates to the calibration and internal gearing of the speedometer and needs to be correct for your vehicle (including diff ratio, tyre size etc).
