1 - Vintage Rare 1950s Ocean City Reel Company Star Dragless White Torpedo Handle

This is a special order, (you had to place a special order with the company in order to receive this unique designed star dragless handle. Called the Sportsman Dragless Crank Handle. It works by replacing the need for any star drag on your ocean city fishing reel.

I never got to fish with it, always wanted too. I got it from running a fishing reel repair and restoration company for 5 years, and I bought up tons of listings and local supplies from anyone old fishing gear (reels, lures, tackle you name it), and this handle was on a busted up Ocean City baitcasting reel size 350 YD.

It will fit from 150YD models to 400 YD Models. No Bigger.

It works by replacing the star drag, and works by cranking in reverse or normal direction under pressure from a fish pulling line out, the harder you crank down the tighter the drag gets, stop reeling under pressure and it will hold and let the drag pull under the set you left it in, the nut that comes with it has a metal flip stop, this allows for tight storage of the handle or set your drag in two spots for default or like setting. I love how it works, and always wanted to fish it, but never got around to getting out to test it out, I did test it by hand with my son, pulling out line lol, but it's still not live action, I loved how it works, it's something to get used too, but once you get how it works, it actually works better and faster than the regular star drag.

Works only on baitcasting models, fresh and saltwater versions, and only right hand retrieve models.
