The pickup works, but is not loud enough for my set up. Has a nice jazzy sound (Hard rock & metal hadn't been invented when this guitar model was born) Easy to remove & install & not attached to the 6 rivets on the plate, shown (not included).
I'd been playing the guitar (pictured, not included) live, with an added acoustic pre-amped under-the-saddle pickup. Obviously, there's a big difference in volume between the 2 designs, but a high power double-coil mini humbucker now bridges the gap a bit.
Once again, the auction is for the pickup only, as I really should keep the scratchplate on the guitar.
