About Judith Leiber: The designer of the world's glitziest evening bags whipped up her earliest creations from the ford binding found beneath old chairs in her mothers living room in prewar Budapest. All her bags displayed the hallmarks of long hours spent in Eoropean musuems and her early guild training, which tailgate her to create "from the ground up".

Leibers bags from the late 80s onwards combined whimsy with jet-set swagger.
