What exactly is “salvaged” condition? These phones are found by recycling professionals in public outdoor areas. These places may include parking lots, roadsides, walking/hiking trails and beaches. They have often been lost for an extended period of time and have been exposed to all sorts of inclement weather including rain or snow. Water damage is likely to be present to some degree. The majority of these phones will remain user account (iCloud) locked. That said I do use a salvaged phone myself and some of them can be loaded with usable parts. They are not sold as or intended to be working phones.
