Three delightful Wade Whimsie Dogs
The Colonel is from Disney First Issue 1956-1965 Hat Box Series Set 3 from the film 101 Dalmations
The Poodle is from the First English Whimsies Set 1 English Animals 1954-1958
The Boxer is from the First English Whimsies Set 7 Pedigree Dogs 1957-1961
The Poodle does have a small chip to her right front paw (see pics 11 & 12)
The other two are in excellent damage free condition; no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration
As you know these early ones were hand crafted & so each one is unique:
If I am being really fussy the black line which is the Colonel's mouth is a bit worn (pic 13) & his eye feels a bit rough (pic 14)
(the best way to describe it is as if someone has dabbed tippex onto his eye)
