Selling my old Curtis pro BMX , the frame is from about 85 , made in the UK in the west of England. The frame is made from T45, an aircraft grade alloy probably by Brian Curtis , legendary UK BMX stuff ….
The drop outs are in excellent condition. A part of the frame which is usually damaged. Only issue is the brake hole was drilled out for a larger calliper brake, I added a photo of this ) , I made plates so I could fit a standard dia comp to protect the fame , it works well. There is no play and the tubing isn’t squashed .
The frame comes with a 5 piece GT stiletto fork. This isn’t drilled for a front brake . These forks are also quite rare and sought after.
It’s 1’ ahead, so I machined shims to run a new bmx stem , this works well, it’s dialled in .
The cranks are Primo 3 piece aluminium , with a DK chain ring, the cranks are used but they work well and are dialled in
The seat and seat post is primo . The bars are ferderal .
On the negative side is the wheels, the hubs are good and  have no play in them .  they and roll nice but the chrome is flaking off , they need sanding and polishing.
The brake levers are super cheap . So this coupled with the flaking rims and the rear calliper means the bike stops but the brake isn’t that good
Tyres are good though , you could just  this thing around as it is , it’s lovely , or use these parts for other period correct bikes .
You can come and collect it from me or I’ll post it to you in a bike box , well protected.
