Up for auction  is this superb large amber optic glass kerosene oil lamp font for a duplex oil lamp . The pattern of ribs are on the inside of the font, with the outside being smooth, the areas of thicker glass giving the 'optic' effect and catching the light.

 Font has NO cracks, nasty stains  or chips .  There are the usual grit specs (pot-stones) and small bubbles that are normal in old glass.

Font is just over  6 inches max diameter and 6  inches overall height.

Complete with securely fitted original brass undermount which has threads 21mm OD ( English No 7 screw) . The brass has a small split in the 'cup' part but is still secure. Brass has some gold paint on it, doubtless from someone painting the base it was originally on . 

No cracks chips or burst bubbles, no stains or scratches .
