Very hard to find pair of binoculars. Black with neck strap. I can provide additional photos if needed or please feel free to ask any questions before bidding. I have had these binoculars since 1964 and have been stored in my gun cabinet since.

To the best of my knowledge this would be a good description. This information was what I obtained from researching them. Again, please ask any questions as all I have to go off of is the information printed on the binoculars themselves:

Bausch & Lomb Mk. 41 7x50 wide field binoculars in good condition.  The view is sharp and clear. The B&L Mk. 41 is probably the finest handheld wide angle binocular ever manufactured. They were made in very limited numbers and are difficult to come by. This is an American binocular. These Mk. 41s provide a sprawling and razor sharp 10 degree field of view. That's a mind-boggling 525ft/1000yds in a 7x50 binocular which also delivers excellent lowlight performance and high resolution. The Mk. 41 was designed for aerial reconnaissance over the Pacific. It delivers a sharp bright, and stable panorama in one glance.
