An exceedingly rare Wedgwood 5-color Jasper-ware trophy plate created to commemorate the Royal visit of Elizabeth II and H.R.H the Duke of Edinburgh to New York in 1976.  This plate is numbered 4 of a very small, special edition of only 12 examples created.  The plate design was reused the following year to mark the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977, however they were issued in a much larger quantity for this event.  Again, there were only 12 examples created of this plate, and there is no information how many have survived, so it's next to impossible to find comparable sales prices for this plate.  The plate measures approximately 8.75" in diameter, and it still retains its original box and certification from Wedgwood.
