Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits '71 UK CBS 69011 1st Ed. No Producer Credit VG/VG+

Cover: VG. UK Gatefold original issue with "Recording Engineer: Martin Birch" credit. Also no "A Blue Horizon Production" or Mike Ross credits.
Typical corner bumps/fraying of paper at those areas. Light ringwear on front and back sleeves. Price Sticker residue top left area under CBS logo. Minor scuffing on top and bottom spines. Title spine has seam split(paper loss) at title area even though it remains intact (see photo).White stress marks on title spine from natural repeated openings of the gatefold. Inside gatefold artwork has very little issues. Seam split on right side of gatefold sleeve(very middle area-see photo) where disc is housed. Several creases from natural handling over the decades. Overall, not too bad when viewed as a whole at one time.

Disc: Visually VG+. Both sides -under bright light-have about 3-4 hard to locate scratches of varying degrees (none feelable or deep)and some odd pressing spots here and there. Very glossy.

Audio: VG++.
Side 1: from the first needledrop at the dead wax lead-in groove area, there is 2-3 bits of intermittent crackle before the opener "The Green Manalishi" begins. I'd call it a noise level of 2.5 out of 10 (10 being the worst) and it results in maybe one or two ticks heard during the intro then it disappears after about 5-10 seconds. The remainder of the track and the side has a near perfect play.Near silence in between most tracks. A couple of  sections between tracks have 1-2 distant ticks if you have it up loud.

Side 2:almost identical to Side 1: Before the side opener "Dragonfly" there is some intermittent crackle at a noise level of 3 out of 10 before the cut begins and you can hear some ticks during the intro for about 15 seconds then it largely disappears. After that, the rest of the side has nearly no noise in between tracks, occasionally 1-2 distant ticks between cuts if the volume is up loud.
So, to sum up: after the 10-15 second bits of crackle on the side openers, you have nearly flawless play both sides.
