A large, well-used, vintage studio, theatre, movie location, or stage light made in Italy, the Sirio1200 QuartColor would once have housed a 1200W metal halide lamp, but this lamp currently is non-functional - it can be converted to take a standard screw-in light bulb as shown in some of the pictures, and wired with a domestic UK plug starting at an additional £50, or purchased 'as-is' for prop, shop display or decorative use.

The yellow knob at the rear adjusts the beam by moving the light source in relation to the fresnel lens at the front of the light, The barn-doors are removable, and rotate around the front of the light, and the whole light can be angled on its bracket. This large imposing thing would make a great decorative floor standing or wall mounted light, and is being sold without the stand shown (a rare vintage Mole Richardson 'Junior" rise-and-fall wheeled stand available separately ), but with it's bracket, and the barn door shutters - similar wheeled or static lamp tripods can be bought new or used from around £30 - £300.

The lamp itself is approximately 35cm wide x 35cm deep x 41cm high, with a 30cm diameter lamp body and a 25cm fresnel lens, on it's bracket it's bigger, and adding the open barn doors double its size.

I had two of these and converted one for domestic use using a long cable with 3 pin UK plug, ceramic E27 lamp holder that would take any screw on bulb - for the avoidance of doubt, the one being sold is not currently working or wired up for domestic use.

I also have 2 x larger Sirio 2500’s available in similar condition - see last few photos.
