This is a UK bike with original frame and engine numbers matching tags.
Bike was purchased while but in a state of disrepair and a non runner. She was stripped to the last nut and bolt ready for restoration.
Frame
This was blasted along with swing arm & footrests etc and powder coated in gloss black.
Engine
This was totally stripped and vapour blasted ready for rebuild. The crank was rebuilt by Firefox racing and the engine was rebuilt with new rings and every possible seal and bearing was replaced with new.
Brakes
Completely rebuilt with new shoes etc
Forks
Stripped, vapour blasted and rebuilt with all new seals etc prior to being polished.
Wheels
Original rims were vapour blasted and rebuilt with brand new stainless steel spokes, balanced and centers were polished.
Seat & Clocks
These were both completely rebuilt with original clocks and seat with the correct pattern. Both as new !
Paintwork
The tank was lined for safety and it and the other paintwork were done in the original Bright Candy Red.
Chrome
Apart from a replacement front mudguard, the chrome is all original and is in pretty good condition for over 50 year old. Original exhausts too !
The bike was put together with the correct S bolts where possible and stainless steel bolts and nuts replaced non S bolts.
The bike has covered less than 20 miles since rebuild. She had not run since May 2023 but managed recently to get her to start and run but she needs a good run and maybe the carbs cleaning again.
