This is a solid silver chunky heavy necklace probably dating from the mid 1970-1980's comprising an interesting plaited woven design and marked 925. The plaited part measures 7cms x 2.5cms and the attached chain is approximately 76-77cms long in total. Each link is about 7 x 2 mm and the woven main part is flexible and moves like chainmail. When worn it hangs low on the chest. There's a sprung ring closure but unless you're an elephant it can slip over your head! Marked where the chain meets the woven part with the 925 purity stamp. I love it but it's too long for me and rather than have it shortened it's best it goes to someone who it suits. It weighs 95g so it's a good solid necklace. Love the unusual woven chunky design but I rarely wear it nowadays....
