This is a fabulous and very attractive National Security fountain pen in a desirable green Lizard skin pattern. This British made fountain pen was manufactured around 1940 and it is in fabulous condition. The body and cap are free from breaks, cracks and bites. The markings are a little faded but that does not detract from the overall desirability. The 14k gold nib lays down a medium line with some line variation. This is a very beautiful pen which will elicit envy when you use it!

The pen has been serviced, a new ink sac fitted and then lightly hand polished before being tested with ink.

Please Note: This pen is a lovely, working example of a vintage pen. This pen may have micro scratches, dings or knocks but will write beautifully. To quote the french writer and philosopher Voltaire (1694-1778) " To hold a pen is to be at war". Regard any slight imperfections as the battle scars of the Victor.
