Levin , was Sweden finest guitar builder, and was probably inspired by Larson Brothers( guitars) when they both lived in USA at the same time during 1890-1900. Herman Levin then went back to Sweden, to start the Levin company. The Levin brand was later bought 1973 by the Martin Guitars.

For sale is a  guitar by Herman Carlson Levin, model 26 pepita. This guitar has a serial number 315509 and was manufactured in 1954.


The dimensions of the guitar body are 385mm x 480mm, with a neck width of 45 mm at the top.


the neck shows a millimeter indentation, the frets also show age, which does not affect the playability.  Changing the frets and doing a light sanding would bring the neck to ideal condition....the action is in the upper limits for an acoustic guitar.
