Before proceeding, be aware that this printer is being sold as-is for parts or repair (if you can). It functions normally EXCEPT that part a row of the "pigment black" (wide-cartridge black) ink nozzles are nonfunctional, as shown in the one overhead picture of a test print (note the gaps in half the grid). Multiple cleaning cycles have not fixed the problem.
With its large-format output, this Canon Pixma iX6520 is billed as a "business printer" that can print typical home and business documents and graphics on plain paper up to 13" x 19." But its 5-color printing system (CMYK dye inks + pigment black ink) means it can also print on large photo paper or photo paper as small as 4" x 6." It also has a nice straight-through paper path, ideal for large-size paper sheets that laser printers have a hard time feeding.
This rare model is ideal for all-around business printing without the complexities of (and various other things that break on) multifunction devices (which rarely offer large format).

This printer comes with five mostly full ink cartridges. It has been used with generic-brand ink cartridges from Amazon, and that's what's currently installed. See note above about print head issue.
OS compatibility for this printer is unclear, and I suggest you only buy it if you are certain it will work with your device. While the device was originally advertised as working with Windows 7/Vista/XP and Mac OS X v10.4.11 to v10.6.x, I have been using it successfully with Mac High Sierra (10.13.6), and one spec page on Canon's website shows compatibility up to Mac OS X v. 12 (Monterey) and Windows 7, 8, 10, and 10s. However, Canon.com also states that official tech support for this device has ended, so be sure you know you can use it with your computer before buying. Also note there are no returns on this item.

Notes on photos in this listing: The main image shows a "nozzle check" printout from this device, to demonstrate overall ink coverage and print quality. The second photo shows the SAME test print from another angle so you can see the nonfunctional inkjet nozzles. Another photo shows a sheet of 11 x 17 paper (unprinted in this pic) to show how big of paper it can take (per the official specs, it can actually go to 13 x 19", though I never tried that size). Another photo shows the printer with the rear paper tray and front output tray all closed up. I recommend a desktop location that's about 1 foot x 2 feet to give this device enough room.
This printer will ship in its original box and packaging to provide the best possible protection. It will include the 110v power cord, though no USB cable (requires typical type-A to B). It will include whatever original documentation came with the package and the original software CD, though that's out of date and you'll need to go to Canon's website to download the latest software for your device.
