Description:
Please find for offer a wonderful Victorian spelling game, dating to the second half of the 19th century. Comprised of approximately 330 card tiles with printed letters, numbers, punctuation marks and blanks, contained in the original wooden box with hinged lid and additional wooden tray. The printed label on the interior of the lid reads: “Alphabetical Amusements.”.

Dimensions:
The box measures: Width: 20.9cm. Depth: 14.1cm. Height: 5.3cm.
The letters vary in size but are approx: 2.4cm x 2.1cm.

Condition:
One hinge of the box slightly bent/skewed but does not affect the opening or closing of the box. Age related wear as expected but overall in good condition. Please examine photos carefully.
