I'm not a Lantern person so any help would be appreciated. I'm never seen a square bottom Dietz before so I'm a bit baffled about this one. I bought it at and estate sale in St Joe, Michigan. On the top of the lantern it has So co Gas Co written: On the glass globe is written H 11-Loc-No B or 8 not sure about that one: Patd 3-10-14: on the other side of the globe is Dietz fit Z All N.Y. U.S.A.: You lift it up from the side to light the wick which looks like the original wick? to me. The globe also has release that lets the globe tilt out. You can see that in the photos. There is no holes or cracks in the bottom that holds the fuel so I'm sure it works just great. The wick goes up and down just great when you turn the knob. If I have missed something please let me know. Thanks
