Up for auction is a very nice looking high-grade book with very good color, very good gloss, and very light cover wear.  The spine is in good shape with a few small stress lines that break color and a small tear at the top corner.  There are no spine splits.  The bottom spine corner is blunted just a bit.  The other two corners are cut square.  There is light tanning on the interior covers.  The back cover is in nice shape with both spine corners showing a small fold line.   There is a small tear on the left edge with a piece that is nearly detached (see photos).  This tiny chip is so fragile at this point that it may detach when I re-insert the book into the Mylar.

Cover is attached at both staples but pulling a bit with tiny staple tears.  The centerfold is well attached at both staples (see photos).  There is no rust on the staples.  All defects listed are allowed in this grade.

This book presents beautifully in the Mylar and the paper is very nice and clean.  This is a complete copy with no missing pages, no coloring, no owner’s name scribbled across the cover, no date stamps, and no missing pieces or coupons.  All defects listed are allowed in this grade.

Note:  Believe me, these pre-hero mags are hard to find in the higher grades!

This is a super nice copy in hand that is very glossy, supple, clean and has some great stories and artwork from Ed Goldfarb, Carl Wessler and others!  And another great cover from Bill Everett!!

I’ve been collecting comics since 1964 and grade the entire book strictly by Overstreet standards.  I keep all of my high value books in Mylar with archival board and will include that for free.  

I combine shipping by weight so wait for my invoice before paying if buying multiple items.  I only ship to the lower 48 states.  I'll ship Priority Mail for this book.  Shipping cost includes full insurance for Priority Mail.  Books over $750 require a signature for delivery.  I pack securely with cardboard reinforcement in bubble wrap in a box/mailer.  I will ship within two days of payment.  Due to the high cost of shipping I do not accept returns.  This also prevents villains from returning a different book.  As a collector I will do my best to disclose all defects which will affect the grade or desirability.   Payment is expected within 2 days.
