Here i have for sale this beautiful 356 super 90 replica named "Wulfgang" that we purchased last year to go down to the le mans 24hr this year in, but sadly with us both being in our 60's now, it just wouldnt be comfortable enough for the long journey & have decided to regretfully sell.

The original plan this year was to buy a car then have it given added livery to pay tribute to "Little Bastard" the famous car of  late film idol James Dean, see last pictures of his car & to see we always try to make our annual trip to le Mans fun. 

As luck would have, this Red car came up for sale locally last year, that had been owned for nearly 35 years & went to meet the builder. He was a professional laminator in his day who made the original moulds for a known car company that sell these kits even today & it was part of the deal that he could make a shell for himself.

As you can imagine, he then used far superior matting & materials in his own build & this is by far a better quality shell than you would get in a commercial mass produced kit. you would not believe it was fibre glass.

The car was last on the road in the early nineties, then went into a collection, where it remained until it was brought out of hibernation a few years ago. 

From there, The chassis was completely rebuilt, shot blasted, with new floors, bulkhead then painted in upol chassis enamel & oven baked.

Then New shock absorbers, brake pipes, fuel lines, brakes & bearings. New fuel tank. completely rewired.

The body was etched primed, then undercoated, before being finished in 1950's Porsche Ruby Red, speaking to the builder, he informs me each paint process was in excess of 3 litres, with 5ltrs on the top coat using traditional cellulose paint, so plenty of deep polishing left for life.

I am advertising mine to see if i get any interest at a competitive price as there are a few things that the new owner may want to change or improve. ie, side windows are in the fixed up position at the moment as the new owner can decide on manual or electric operation, which is what we were going to do.

The motor is a 1600cc twin port that runs with no nasty knocks or rattles & was told, refreshed during the rebuild. 

Im waiting for a new master cylinder to arrive & new windscreen wipers, but they should be here in a couple of days so i can bleed the brakes as they were not very good before from standing & fit the wipers.
