READ
THIS! These records are NOT sold
for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading.
They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise
that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t
bid if this is a problem for you.
So with that

Beatles LP 1975 Something New with
Three “All Rights” Variations on One LP in Shrink!
These
copies are too rare to determine whether this was an error pressing or a
partial run. To date, I have only
discovered TWO titles. This one and
“Yellow Submarine.” And I’ve only ever
seen one copy of each. That means that
whoever wins this record will own the only copy I’ve ever seen since 1975.
I’M
COMPILING A TWO-VOLUME SET OF BOOKS of labels for just American Beatles
albums. If anyone owns other titles with
this configuration, please contact me. I
will include your label and credit you.
Vinyl--- EX/NM. Side 1 has one VERY light scratch about 2 inches long, which
cannot be felt with the fingertip.
Plates--- H13/ H13. Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax makes this copy
pressed in Los Angeles.
Cover--- EX. Still in shrink, this cover is beautiful, with the exception
of some yellowing down the mouth where the shrink was opened. Light dirtwear on the back cover under the
shrink.
NO SPLITS.
Breathe Holes--- There is one breathe
hole on the front
cover, floating in the ceiling nearest Ringo.
See photo.
Labels--- EX/EX. Labels look brand new, with the exception of some light
spindle marks per side.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white inner sleeve with no
die-cut hole for the labels to show is present and in EX condition. Nice and flat, NO SPLITS.
A generic
inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner
sleeve en route.
RIAA: 18
As these
records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling
and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher
or a VPI machine always clears them up.
Thanks!)
Note: All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to
damage the covers during shipment.
CAUTION! There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids. A word to the wise, I have started blocking
any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.
Please don’t bid unless you’re
willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please
note: Regarding
play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and
I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.
Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
