VHS player is functioning great, however DVD player will eject and accept disks, but it will not read and automatically eject after trying for 20 or so seconds.

Be aware you are purchasing this knowing only the VHS player works, DVD side could be repaired possibly I have not diagnosed if it's a laser needing cleaned or needs a new spin motor.
