On offer is a Wylex dual plug.

The plug measures about 2.40 inches high [including the pins] x 2.25 inches diameter. This plugs into a standard Wylex ring-main socket and has a socket on the top to insert another plug.

These plugs / adaptors were introduced during the late 1940s, but replaced with the standard 13A ring main system in use today, but are now becoming very difficult to find. They are essential to maintain the originality and integrity of period style appliances in applications using Wylex sockets and fittings.

It is in very good condition which can better be seen from the photographs, and these, with the description are of the actual Wylex 'Dual Plug' on offer for sale.
