A very underrated lens!

The Meyer-Optik Görlitz Oreston 1.8 50 is a vintage 50mm prime lens that is very good at rendering warm colours and creates a distinctive vintage look.

Compatible with most modern digital cameras with the use of an adapter.

Very good lens!  The bokeh is it's main plus. It is very smooth which makes it perfect for portraits.
It is very easy to focus with this lens because of the center sharpness.

Also notable is the minimum focusing distance0.33m!
Vintage lens enthusiast and collectors can not miss out on this lens.

My setup for using this lens is with a Fujifilm X-T20 or X-T3 camera and a Kipon Baveyes speed booster/focal reducer.

  • Glass elements: clean, free from haze and fungus, only micro dusts inside.
  • Focus: smooth, works as it should.
  • Aperture: 6 aperture blades, oil free, snappy, works properly.
  • Body: minimal signs of use, in a very good condition.
  • Mount: M42.
  • Caps: front and rear caps included.
  • Bonus: included lens hood.
Please note, due to current (pandemic) circumstances, delivery times are longer than usual.
