Compact and well-made Philips Table Radio with fantastic, deep mellow sound for its size. 

FM & DAB+ capable, with input socket as well.

There is NO POWER SUPPLY with this radio. This is not a battery set. I have tested it on my bench supply - a universal centre-pin-positive of 5v or 6v will be fine, but you should be aware that the socket is quite small and it will require a very thin pin. Therefore, it's not plug-'n-play so this is best bought by someone who knows what they are doing. I say this also, because the display isn't all that bright. Fine if you're looking down on the radio, or your viewing angle is at eye level. But if it's above eye level you can't read it. The display window is tinted anyway, so it may just be designed like this - I don't know!

The sound is very deep for its size and quite mellow - one of the best I've heard. And it looks real 1950s! The Philips radio gets all the DAB+ stations available in your area using the attached wire aerial and there's FM/Aux in too. 

All this is reflected in the bargain price - so please no returns!
