Up for auction is a great sounding and versatile overdrive pedal. It's a Boss OD-3 and it's a good one. Who hasn't been heard of Boss pedals. Been around forever. Everyone back in the day owned at least one Boss pedal and they are still around because guitar players around the world use them and trust the quality and tone of their pedals. Many now are true classics that other "boutique" builders copy. There is something reassuring about the look of their pedals. They've never changed. You can tell it's a Boss pedal from a mile away. Best of all they won't break the bank.
The BOSS OD-3 Overdrive is a transparent, natural overdrive pedal. Built in the tradition of other legendary BOSS overdrives, the OD-3 Overdrive pedal gives guitarists a greatly expanded range of smooth overdrive tones and improved response. Its dual-stage overdrive circuit offers a superior level of sustain and compression. Increased dynamics yield a ‘bigger’ sound than any previous BOSS overdrive pedal and its dynamic, non-muffled tones are reminiscent of classic overdriven "stack" amps.
It will respond to your picking dynamics and clean up as you turn down your guitar's volume control. See last paragraph for some more detailed description.
I actually bought three of these pedals, from a music store that went out of business. All were brand new, in the box, and had never been played prior to me owning them. I sold one and will be keeping one. The pedal you will be bidding on, I have played this pedal twice in my home studio. Last time was prior to listing. The pedal functions properly and sounds great. Comes with the original box and all paperwork.
Lots of info online and some good you tube videos. I urge you to check those out. I will be listing other pedals and guitar related equipment. Check my listings for some great deals. I ship out items quickly.
