Dead Fans !! - Dead Fans !!!  Whoa !?!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the Spring 1990 Tour at the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland ( MD ) on March 14, 1990 ( 3/14/90 ) !! - the Spring '90 " Tour Opener " !!!  And ... if You ! were in there ... or, if you are even well-familiar with this Show ( & the Loose Lucy !! Crown-Explosion !!! ) - then ... you are most-definitely Smiling !! right-about now.  Wow ...  We all have those ' Favorite-Days ' of our Lives, and for me ... March 14, 1990 is undoubtedly one of them !  A top one, in fact ... though - admittedly, there is a lot of competition ! - Ha !  No, but with all Deadhead-seriousness ... this here, is a Heavy-Duty G.D. Pass !  Just meaning so very-very much ... Loose Lucy is to My Delight ! - She Comes Running and We Ball All Night !!!  Garcia !!!!!  Well, for starters - this here 3/14/90 Show was indeed the ' Tour-Opening-Show ' - of what Folks now even commonly refer to now as " Spring 1990 " !!!  I totally love it - so Incredibly-Hot ! in G.D. Folklore now a days, that it's even got a Name !  A term to refer to it with ... " Spring '90 " !!!  Well, this was indeed was the Cap Centre run ' Opener ' too - so, it was really a a Double-Opener !! - if I may.  And, to not beat around the bush at all ... this indeed was the " Loose Lucy " Night ! where Garcia took his turn of Bringin' One Back ! for the Dead Fan Faithful !! ... for the 1st-Time Since '74 !!! - 10/19/1974 - to be precise.  And ... this is without any-question the Most-Amazing ! Crowd ' Response / Reaction ' that I have ever heard ' Live ' !  The 2/27/1994 Cosmic Charlie near-miss - or, near-hit ? ... tease?!?? - I think might be the 2nd biggest - but, that's West Coast where pound for pound, it's just mellower ... but, 3/14/1990 took place right-in - The MD !!! - Dead smack in the middle of the Mid-Atlantic ! ... Eeeeeast Coooast !!!  And, when Garcia dropped this, oh my ... did that place Absolutely-Explode !!!  And, keep in mind too that 3/15/90 was " Phil's 50th Birthday ! " - where Brent delivered ' Easy To Love You ' for the 1st Time Since 1980 ! - and the 1st ' Revolution ' was played ... Since 1985 !!  And, on the final night of 3/16/1990 ... Bobby delivered the 1st Black Throated Wind - Since 1974 !!!  Wowie ...  So, as it goes without saying - this was a Red-Hot run !  And ... Now, Finally !!! ... 3/14/1990 - 3/15/1990 & 3/16/1990 ... have All ! been Pro-released on Audio CD !!!  The Band was Beyond-Smokin' !!! straight out of the gate on this Tour !!  And hey, I know ' set list ' wise ( on-paper ), maybe not - and, I also know that it was a bit ' shorter ' of a Show than the other two ... but, there is just both Fire ! & Magic !! in a bottle on this 3/14/90 Show All-Night-Long ... Wow !!!  I actually ' personally ' believe that 3/14/90 was actually ( & ironically ... ) The Very-Best-Show ! - of the ' Entire ' Spring 1990 Tour !!  Sure ... I well-know, I'm in the ' minority-opinion ' on this one - but ... just " Get on Your ! Headphones !! " - and then you-tell-me.  Ha !   The Stranger Smokes ! ... Brent plays the Good Times Blues ! ... the Let It Grow ! was so hot that it was used on ' Without A Net ' ! ... and, the Crazy Fingers > Playin' > Uncle John's > Playin' is just as Hot ! as it gets !?!  And ... Brent even kicks down Dear Mr. Fantasy ! out of Drums > Space !!!  The Miracle get Crushed ! with Passion, Fury & fire ... Garcia's Black Peter solo is So-Special ! ... and Bobby basically hits a Grand Slam ! - and clearing All ! the Bases !! ... with a Terror Lovelight !!!!!  Dang, I literally could talk about this Show for days on end ... and believe me, over the last nearly 30-Years - I have !  So fitting that it's a Killer ! Rick Griffin Art Pass design too !!  Just the Perfect ! G.D. package on March 14, 1990 for the Good Ol' '90's ! Grateful Dead !! - and their Rabid & Loyal Fans !!! ... just All ! across-the-board ..... in Maryland ! style. -- Enjoy !!!!!!!
