Grateful Dead Backstage Pass : 1994 : B-25 Mitchell Medium Bomber Aircraft : US Air Force : World War II WW2 : Fall Tour '94 ! : September 29, 1994 ( 9/29/94 : 9/29/1994 ) - Boston Garden - Boston, Massachusetts ( MA ) : 1994 Grateful Dead Productions, Inc. ( GDP ) - Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) : Very-Rare !!!!!

Grateful Dead Fans !! ... & Fans of Vintage Aviation !!!  Offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the September 29th, 1994 ( 9/29/94 ) Concert at the Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts !  And featured on this Incredible ! G.D. Backstage Pass design is none other than the Mitchell manufactured World War II B-25 Medium Bomber Aircraft War Plane ... with this particular one here being best known as " Tootsie " !!!
Take a close look at the photos of this treasure of a " Grateful Dead-meets-1940's US Air Force " Backstage Pass - and you will notice not only the classic mainly-glass ! nose cone signature ! of the B-25 ... but, you will also see " Tootsie " painted right on the side !!  And, this particular ' painting ' is actually pretty tame - in comparison to some of the other ' creative ' designs painted on US Air Force Planes during this World War 2 Era !  Tootsie was a restored B-25 - which I believe saw plenty of action ... but was then used as Show & Tell at various Military Airshows in the 1980's & 1990's - and, hence this very-cool photo used on an Original ! Grateful Dead Backstage Pass !!  The Band, and even more specifically the Road Crew ! really liked their ' Machines ' - like Sound Equipment - Motorcycles - Planes & such ... and out of all of these types of different designs that were made - this here is one of my Absolute-Favorite !  I used to build some model airplanes when I was a kid - and these B-series Bombers were always a very-fun challenge !  You know, lots of parts & pieces !!  So, this particular Military Aircraft was built right around 1940 by Mitchell - and this particular model of Bomber ... the B-25 was a crucial & critical ! ' Medium ' ranged Bomber Aircraft which did its part in the Allied War Effort of World War II !  Frankly ... it's one of the " Coolest " looking Vintage War Planes that there is - with the whole Glass-None / Dome & Gun-Turret thing going on.  A killing machine for certain - but in the Allied War case of World War II ... it certainly served its duty as a universal military liberator !  And, another thing that is pretty cool about this Backstage Pass - from a Grateful Dead History perspective - is that is was actually made for the ' Last & Final ' Shows by the Grateful Dead at the Boston Garden ! - in Boston, MA ... the Proud Home of both !! the Boston Bruins ! & Boston Celtics ! for Decades !!!  Without any question ! ... one of the Coolest !! Grateful Dead Passes ever issued in the 1990's for Backstage Credentials - and here today ... quite the Collectible !  And, especially if you are a Fan of your US Military Aircraft !  So, let me introduce you to " Tootsie " - unless, of course - you already know of her !! ... Enjoy !!!!!
