Very unusual Art Deco
style Bavaria crown-top figural perfume/scent bottle depicting a very sweet
Blackamoor Boy.
All made of glaze enameled glazed porcelain or ceramic with gilded metal crown-top stopper. “Bavaria” and three stars embossed around bottom of stopper (see picture #8.) "Germany" stamped on bottom.
Made in Germany circa 1930.
Dimensions:
3" (8 cm) height
including the crown stopper.
Condition:
Flawless bottle without
chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. Orange enamel is slightly worn here and
there (see pictures.) Somewhat darkened stopper with minor, almost not
noticeable, markings on bottom. Otherwise, very fine overall condition.
