The lamp stands 11" tall without the bulb. I did test and it works fine. Cord is in nice condition. The wood sculpture is also nice, some very light rub spots, might use just a bit of detailing. The umbrella pole has some paint missing near the base, it's kind of loose in the hole but would not come out easily. The round base measures 6" diameter. Just needs a cute shade. I believe the maker is stamped on the bottom but its so faint I cannot read it.
