Garrard 301 Grease Bearing 'Hamertone' turntable early serial number; 8761.
Very early example circa 1955.
Turntable looks to be complete but please check photographs and ask if you require more details or further specific photographs. Overall cosmetic condition shows some wear to paint finish and turntable will require service/restoration prior to being used.
Motor was briefly powered up without platter being in place and worked well with near silent running.
Holes have been drilled in chassis above Start Switch (see last picture) and the start switch looks to have been glued.
Rare chance to own one of the most sought after Garrard 301's.
