In the late 1970's Pentax built this, the ME Super, as a compact answer to the EM by Nikon and the OM-10 by Olympus. These are very compact SLR 35mm film cameras with an electronic shutter, auto exposure and this being the "Super" model it also has full manual exposure capabilities. Best of it uses the wonderful Pentax K-Mount system which means that it will accept any of the excellent Pentax K mount lenses.

This one is in decent shape with signs of it age and patina on the corners of the body, and the strap needs replacing but it is still a sharp looking shooter. Mechanically it work just as it should with a snappy shutter, accurate light meter, and smooth film transport. There is a Tamron 2 H0YA 58mm lens with it. They make for a nice package when coupled to the compact and light body of the Pentax ME and this one is in good shape with clean optics and smooth focus. These cameras take the common LR44 batteries.
Excellent example of a vintage camera that still holds up as a great technical buy today.
