A Kiev 4a Contax copy camera with Helios 103 lens in very nice used condition.

Camera: The camera is from 1975, clean and recently recovered with new leatherette. The viewfinder is clear and the rangefinder patch easily visible and seemingly accurate. The shutter works on all speeds including B though the slower speeds possibly sound a tad slow.  It has been film tested and has a couple of small issues. Firstly the delayed timer release doesn't work - it sets and winds down but doesn't trigger the shutter at the end of it's travel. Secondly, the frame spacing is on the wide side and is not completely consistent - apparently quite common on these but it may just be due to me not loading the film into the take-up spool properly! See the last picture. There is a very small amount of play within the lens mount which does not affect use.

Lens: The lens is a lovely Russian Helios-103 53mm f1.8. Focus is smooth and the aperture is responsive and adjusts easily. It looks very clean and clear with minimal cleaning marks and dust visible when a bright torch is shone through.

Comes with plastic take-up spool and lens cap.

Any questions just ask.

I will also be listing a Jupiter 12 35mm lens to fit this camera..
