MSI GP63 Leopard 8RE gaming laptop for sale.

In overall good working order and good condition, with some marks and repair to broken hinge (see more on this below).

Laptop and charger/PSU.

Re the hinge repair:

I bought the laptop with a makeshift repair to right hinge.
I made a more robust repair, replacing the broken plastic and inserts that the hinge attached to with a metal piece.

I also retensioned the hinges to an optimum level and lubricated the hinges with a synthetic PTFE grease. I covered the metal part with red vinyl to match the rest of the red trim.

The lid/screen now opens, closes and holds position smoothly as it should.

On close inspection, there is a very slight gap and small offset in the position of the charge port (see pics). This doesn't obstruct use of the charger/PSU.

There are small superficial marks where a previous owner has removed the bottom plate, presumably with a metal rather than plastic prying implement.

There is also a small crack by one of the USB ports.

None of these affect function of the laptop and the overall look is good, with clean lid/screen/keyboard/palmrest.

The laptop will be sent with a fresh, licenced install of Windows 11 Home ready for the new user.

It will be well packed and sent by trackable, signed for service.
