From my Mother’s estate,..

This was an inherited decades ago. Unique and rare, this is from the Safari series, gone with the wind style lamp, blown lions head glass, metal base and burner only . This was never converted to electric. I have lightly cleaned the glass only, it will need a detailed cleaning as I don’t know how to go about getting the old oil off of the metal font etc. or dealing with the glass anymore makes me nervous 😬

The glass is in great condition, no cracks. No big flaws to paint. Original safari Arabian desert designs are in fabulous condition. . Please ask questions as I am not familiar with all of the parts, etc. and whether or not this is complete as far as the font burner. Seems to have a lot of wick. No kerosene or oil in the lamp burner it appears to be completely dry inside.

Please review all of the pics carefully. Featuring safari series, different Arabian desert scenes. This was alone in a box. I don’t believe I have any other parts. Top shade Globe chimney etc. if found. Buyer will be contacted if & when i find them. There is some rust to metal base, center rod and nut.

This will be carefully double boxed and fully insured at my cost. My items come from a clean, pet and smoke-free home. This is a fabulous antique piece gone with the wind style.
