It is Something of a 'Mystery' 

This Mask. I have owned it for 

a number Of years, A Very Very 

long time. I have owned many 

Myers Masks and Props over 

The years from the entire Film 

Series - Official & Indie - This 

was THE MASK I could never 

even consider selling ! In all my 

Time of ownership, it has only 

Been kept in a display cabinet, 

Away from any direct sunlight, 

Smoke & Pet Free Environment.

( Included: Custom Display Head )

The Mask is of a Very Small Size 

And is Vintage, its more a small 

Child size, I have never attempted 

To wear it or try it on, through fear 

Of bursting / ripping it. It has only 

Ever been a Display Artifact, When 

You compare to the scene in H1 

When Jamie Lee Curtis lifts Myers 

Mask off his face, You get a sense 

of how thin the 'Don Post' Masks 

Were and This Mask replicates it 

Exactly ( See Photo No. 9 & 10 ) it 

Is also why the original mask 

looked so different stretched on 

the heads of Castle & Warlock. 

Obviously there was also some 

ageing and rot to the original 

mask between H1 to H2.

I have no idea who made this, it 

seems to be a complete one of 

A kind. I have researched this 

mask many times, I have looked 

through Myers-Net Galleries, 

Databases and Forums and I 

cannot find a match to it. 

I have also shown this mask to 

A few well known and very 

established Myers Mask 

Collectors and Experts and none 

have been able to pin point it for 

sure, If anyone does know what 

This Mask's origin is - I would be 

Very interested to hear from you.

One suggestion is that it may 

have been made from a 'pull' 

Taken from a cast of an 

Original Don Post Kirk Mask, 

Due to its small size - The Cast 

Itself may have shrunk or the 

Kirk Mask itself had shrunk 

And this was maybe a test or 

Prototype of an abandoned run 

That never came to be ( But 

This is all purely guess work ) 

I have found no evidence to 

support anything like this. 

I purchased it many years ago 

From a Collector in Australia, 

Who bought it from a Collector 

In the USA. I remember it being 

Mentioned that it was Painted 

Or Re-Painted By - But NOT 

made by 'Martin Pena' it is 

signed on inside of Neck 

"Halloween II" 

This Mask manages to capture 

Its screen use and look in 1981 

HALLOWEEN 2 and how the 

Mask looked during its time in 

Dick Warlock's ownership after 

The films production during the 

1980's & 1990's.

The ORIGINAL Mask Story:

Considered by Many to be the 

BEST Mask of the entire film 

Franchise, The classic, The 

original mask worn by 'Nick 

Castle' in 1978 and again by 

'Dick Warlock' in 1981. The 

original mask was then kept 

by stuntman 'Warlock' after 

The filming of Halloween 2, 

Until around 2002 when it 

was sold to a private collector 

along with H2's original Boots, 

Overalls and Prop Weapons. 

Any True Halloween Fans and 

collectors of this type of thing 

Know the backstory. The 1978 

film featured a converted 'Don 

Post' Junior - Captain Kirk, Star 

Trek 'William Shatner' Mask. 3 

Mask's were on set: Hero / Stunt 

And a 3rd Mask. All were seen 

Together at the 1978 film's Rap 

Party - being worn by Nick Castle 

And John Carpenter's Band.
