This Timex is a battery powered mechanical watch. It was a bridge between fully mechanical and quartz. The black dial appears to have a matte finish with a red and black outer track with square hour markers. The dial is marked 767704171A which would indicate a model 41 from 1971.

The crystal is really clean, not new, but very little to complain about. 

The case shows little wear. There are a few minor marks, but nothing glaring. The markings on the bezel are visible with a tasteful and authentic patina.

The watch has been reasonably accurate on the wrist. When on off the wrist and on the table is does often stop after a few hours more often than not and will need a little twirl to initiate the balance wheel motion again. This is not uncommon with these. The date has been changing fine. If you’re sensitive to the sound of ticking, you’ll want to store this one away because it is audible.

I am super careful and do not recommend exposing it water.

It comes EITHER, NOT BOTH, on the pictured bracelet of the leather strap. The bracelet a screw link stainless steel. It’s not a perfect match. I prefer the strap myself, but you get to choose.
