Very Scarce 1848 Queen Victoria Gold Half Sovereign. Awesome Shield reverse .0.917 fineness Weight .1227 Oz. 3.99 grams. Only a very small amount still exist in this nice. Most were melted down in the 1890’s due to being not proper weight due to wear. Graded by NGC as XF 45. This coin will be a great addition to any Collection.
