OFFERED IS: THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME b/w FROM ME TO YOU on CAPITOL STARLINE SERIES RECORDS #6064 - a very hard to find GREEN SWIRL LABELED BEATLES 45 issued in the USA in 1965 during the height of BEATLEMANIA!  This was Capitol Records effort to cash in on the prior year's success of the 45 PLEASE PLEASE ME on VJ Records.   Capitol issued 6 different titles on this same label in 1965.  We also have DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET on this label coming up in a future auction.

Overall this 45 is in Very Good++ condition.   Side A grades VG+++ while Side B grades VG+ to VG++ as it has a small scuff across the grooves at about the 3 o'clock position.  Aside from the scuff, the vinyl has hardly a mark!   It plays through just fine as the scuff isn't deep enough to impact the sound.  The labels are clean.  It includes the original blue and white Capitol Starline sleeve in VG condition with some roughness along the top edge but no seam splits.  If you don't have this particular record, this would be a very nice addition to any serious Beatles record collection!
