BLACK with a Pure New Wool Body and Skirt and a Cotton Velvet Band across the shoulders, back and front following on to a Velvet Roll Neck

Vintage Size 8  to fit Bust 33" to fit Hips 35" as stated on the label 

I THINK it is more a size 10/12

@ 1980s Retro.

Stand up Roll Neckline fastens at the back with 2 Buttons

Zip down the back 17"

Elasticated at the Waist

Side Split 9.5" - left side 

Waist 26" stretching to 32"

Hips 38" my measurements - label states 35" 

Chest 38" again my measurements - label states 33" 

Padded Shoulders

Across Shoulders 19" 

Long Sleeves fastens with 2 button at the cuff

Not lined

2 side pockets 

Full length - Top of Shoulder to waist 22" - Waist to hemline 30"

Reasonably a heavy fabric 

The Condition is GOOD But I think someone has altered the length - I have repaired but you may wish to have it done professionally - the dress must be at least 40 years old
