MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original RCA Records very first Stereo press released by RCA Victor Records, made and distributed in Chile in 1974 by Industria De Radio Y Televisión S.A. (IRT Records), licensed from RCA Italy, catalog number TBBO-1026, with hand etched matrix numbers TBBO-1026-A EB-CD in Side A and TBBO-1026-B EB-CD in Side B, with traditional orange/black RCA Victor Records labels with white “RCA Victor” and SOLID CENTER. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

“Dune Buggy” was originally released in Italy in 1974 and it became a worldwide hit thanks to the comedy film “Altimenti Ci Arrabbiamo” starred by Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, and the same year we got this single released here in Chile, licensed from RCA Italy. Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters and for brothers Guido and Maurizio De Angelis for arrangements and direction, with additional information about licenses. So, here you have the chance to get and own this so classic song “Dune Buggy” by Oliver Onions, one of the many projects of Guido and Maurizio De Angelis, in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS, with Spanish-written song titles, a record almost never seen and A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Oliver Onions, Guido and Maurizio De Angelis and Italian Pop music of the ‘70’s!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in nice EX- or EX condition both sides, glossy and clean, with some soft scuffs and very light hairlines, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play. Labels are in great EX+ or even NM- condition both sides, clear and clean, with only some spindle hole wear and factory micro tears. The sound is in strong NM- or even NM condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with only minimal occasional and barely audible soft crackles here and there, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which don’t cause any distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE CHILEAN PRESS, with Spanish-written song titles, with a very nice look, almost immaculate labels and superb sound quality after about 49 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity of this Chilean record!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
